Here is the result of my beautiful piece of art. Last week when Katie and us Killpack girls went to Color Me Mine for her Bachelorette Bash. I thought I would be weird, a little naughty, and have some fun. Like I said, McKay and I needed a butter holder and our butter would always taste like nasty refrigerator. Now this will protect it and keep it safe.

An Engagement

It has finally happen. My older sister of 24 got engaged last night. I'm so happy and excited for her. She moved to California back in October to be closer to her boyfriend Andrew who is going to medical school down in LA. The wedding will be in June and I'm excited because Caitlin and I are bridesmaids! This time around we can voice our opinion about what we wear and not feel bad. Melanie and Andrew are going to do a carnival themed reception with a photobooth, cotton candy, a tent, and the whole shebang! Congrats the two of you! I heart both of you. Welcome to the family Andrew.

A Suprise Gift from Mom
Last night McKay and I went up to my parents house to hang out and watch the Super Bowl on my parents new TV. It was a lot of fun. Right before we left to go back home to dingy air Provo, my Mom remembered that she bought me something when she went to California last week to help my older sister plan some wedding stuff. I open the sack and this is what I got some sassy Anne Taintor trinkets :
And this feisty compact mirrorI was laughing so hard. My Mom told me about his place in California called Old Orange Town, or something like that where she got these two gifts for me. She said that I would love it because antique and vintage shops line both of the streets of this town. I may say I can't wait to visit there someday.

I heart Kath & Kim

Thanks to my fabulous friend Liz, she knew what I needed to get me through these frigid months ahead of me. Kath & Kim. If you haven't seen this show, it's a must see. It's so random, weird, and it makes me feel like I actually have a life when I watch this show. The night I first encountered this show, Liz and I sat on her bed and watched all of the episodes and we even watched the Australian version of it. Which I thought was even more random and crazy. The plot of the show is its about a mother (Kath) and daughter (Kim) who love to shop all day everyday at the mall. Kim is married but is recently separated from her husband who still comes and hangs out with her everyday at Kath's house, which Kim lives there too. Anyway, check it out, it might change your life.

I'm Sorry I've Ignored You Blog
I realized I haven't payed much attention to my lil blog. I hope it doesn't feel abandoned. The truth is that nothing really exciting has happened, so nothing really fascinating to post about. But I do have some updates. I finished the book Twilight. No I'm not an obsessed fan, but I'm going to read @ 2, 3, and 4. I went to my Ward's book club were we discussed and analyzed parts of the book. It was fun to see other people's views and comments about the book.

I finish my crocheting project! It's a short scarf where you put around your neck and there's a button in the front that you
fasten. It's very exciting.
Last week was Katie's Bridal Shower. We had it at Grandma Killpack's house. It was really fun, there was good food, and Katie got some sexy things and of course she got a lot practical stuff too.
Earlier this week we threw Katie a Bachelorette party! We went to Zupa's for dinner and then we migrated over to Color Me Mine! I've never been there and so I was very anxious to start this creative journey. To be different I didn't pick a mug, I picked this hot dog in a bun thing that opens up. The reason behind it was because we were at a bridal shower and it looked funny, and second McKay and I need a butter holder, because we don't have one and our butter always tastes like refrigerator. To be really different I hand painted the dog in a damask design. The bun is bright red and inside is purple. And it wouldn't be complete without McKay's "Hot Doggy Dog!" saying when we got excited about eating a hot dog.

I signed up to play intramurals at BYU. I'm going to play water polo and soccer. We'll see how long I last in the game. Its hard during the winter to stay active. I'm taking 15 credits, working part time, its cold outside, I hate using BYU's work out facilities, and McKay and I put our 24 Hour Fitness passes on hold for a couple of months. That's why I've been enjoying my belly dancing work out video. It's so hypnotizing because one night I was doing my thang and McKay couldn't pay attention to his homework.

I hope to look like that when I play

Anyway, so that's been up with me for the past week.
